My New Hair

Founded by Trevor Sorbie MBE, My New Hair provides public advice and support through a network of independent salons and professionals for people suffering from cancer and medical hair loss. Losing your hair can be devastating both emotional as well as physically. 

The charity’s aim is to offer the best standards of wig styling through their network of Salons that Care, by helping you choose a wig, cut and style specifically for you. Many of the salons are also trained to advise on wig aftercare and hair re-growth too.

My New Hair have produced a booklet of advice and information on what happens when you lose your hair, choosing a wig, having your wig styled to suit you and aftercare/ hair re-growth in conjunction with the Department of Health and Institute of Trichologists. Click here to download.
