Q: What do I do if I’m having issues, have a question or need to change something?
A: We are here to help! Please send us an email to hello@notanotherbunchofflowers.com. Rest assured we will be in touch as soon as we can. If you email outside of office hours your order wont be being processed, so we will sort once we are back in the office.
Q: How does your gift subscription service work?
A: This is a completely bespoke service. We work to your budget and your schedule. For example, you may have clubbed together with a group and have a larger budget of £500 and want to send a total of 10 gifts every 2 weeks – or you may have a budget of £100 and just want to send out 3 gifts over the next 3 months. We will come up with a proposal of our gift recommendations and suggestions, but these can be tweaked as much as you like – either upfront, or as we go along. We would be in touch before each gift is due to be sent to check that the timing and gift selection is still appropriate, and to ask for the gift message you would like to include.
Q: How do I include a photo for my personalised photo gift?
A: Unfortunately our website doesn’t have the technology for you to upload a photo (we are working on this!) so we kindly ask you to reply to your confirmation email with your selected photo(s). The higher the resolution, the better the quality print.
Q: What should I avoid when choosing a present for my friend who is undergoing cancer treatment?
A: I’m afraid it’s a bit of a minefield and depends what type of cancer your friend has and what treatment they are having. Some patients are advised to avoid dairy which means many foodstuffs are off the list. Many homeopathic and aromatherapy agents have been proven to interfere with certain drugs including many chemotherapy agents and other drugs. Many patients choose to avoid toiletries containing parabens, sulphates, perfume and other chemicals as there are some schools of thought that these may promote the cancer’s growth – and, unfortunately, even some aromatherapy and homeopathic ingredients are also a no-go as they interact with the chemotherapy agents. Some patients aren’t even allowed fruit and flowers on the ward! If you want to be super safe, I would stick with toiletry brands such as Defiant Beauty (that has specifically been formulated for use during cancer treatment), useful gifts like a Bold Beanie or Queasy Drops, and other cosy treats such as bed socks, books, candles, pillow sprays, heated eye masks and hot water bottles.
Q: How do I know that the toiletries in the gift bags will be suitable for my friend with cancer?
A: While many patients do not restrict the ingredients in their toiletries, to err on the side of caution, I would stick with toiletry brands such as Defiant Beauty (that has specifically been formulated for use during cancer treatment). However, any patient should double check the ingredients before using them.
Q: What are your delivery options?
A: Gifts can either be sent directly to the recipient or to you to give to them in person. All delivery options are shown on the product page and at checkout. Within the UK you can choose standard delivery, express delivery and Saturday delivery.
Q. How will my gift be packaged?
A: We take pride in packaging our get well gifts with as much care as you would when sending a gift directly to a friend. We offer standard or luxury gift wrap, but if you select no gift wrap we will use tissue and/or hamper paper to make the gift look lovely when opened. We may have to use packing materials such as bubble wrap, to protect the gifts in transit.
Q: How do I include my gift message?
A: If the gift is going directly to the recipient, you will be prompted for your message at checkout. If you have selected a card we will handwrite the message in the card for you. If you have not selected a card we will write your message on a Not Another Bunch Of Flowers gift tag.
Q: What payment options do you accept?
A; Paypal, Google Pay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Debit Cards.
