'Beyond Goodbye' book by Zoë Clark-Coates
Beyond Goodbye walks people through their darkest days of suffering and gives them hope for the future. Written by Zoë Clark-Coates, CEO of the Mariposa Trust and a leading expert on grief who has experienced huge loss in her own life.
Beyond Goodbye is split into two sections: the first examines different types of loss and the second provides a practical 60-day support guide. The book covers issues related to the loss of loved ones (parents, partners, children and friends) and helps to answer common questions the author is asked each week, including how to survive the initial period after loss and how to support yourself or someone else immediately after a death. Zoë will tackle topics that are rarely discussed, including how to maintain intimacy following loss and how to return to work when grieving. The book also addresses myths and misconceptions about grief. Each section in the first half will interlace practical advice with personal stories from individuals to help readers relate.
