Having lost my mother at a young age to cancer, Mother's Day was always tinged with sadness for me. And when I was diagnosed with cancer myself and told, post treatment, that I would never be able to have children myself, I was heartbroken. However, fast forward 2 years I saw another consultant who I met on a Breast Cancer Care forum and she told me not to give up hope. And today I am celebrating my 2nd Mother's Day.
