Personal Pledge Vouchers

I had an idea of making up some personal pledge vouchers (name TBC! Trying to think of something a tad more "catchy") to include with my get well care packages. People are always quick to make offers of help, but as a patient you sometimes feel a bit embarrassed asking for help. These vouchers will be a tangible reminder that someone really DOES want to help.

I will be covering the cost of production myself and will be donating the full amount of each voucher to charity. One of my school friends put me in touch with a designer down in Brighton who has amazingly and very kindly offered to design the vouchers free of charge. She is extremely talented and I can't wait to see what she comes up with.

I'm thinking a voucher for each of the following:

• babysitting
• a home-cooked meal
• a lift to wherever's needed
• a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on
• a blank one which could be manually filled in with whatever they want to promise their friend/loved one.
