Based on the bestseller of the same name it tells the true story of Lisa Lynch who was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 28. We were treated at the same hospital (The awesome Royal Marsden) and introduced through a mutual friend. Her upbeat nature and positivity really helped me through my diagnosis and treatment. However, a few years later, just as she started to get her life on track and started making plans for her future, including looking into adopting a baby, the cancer returned and she sadly passed away at the young age of 33. This film was a fantastic tribute to a wonderful girl. Sheridan Smith surpassed herself and did Lisa proud.
